New Features and Improvements

AtScale contains the following new features and improvements.

C2025.11.0

Define percentile metrics in Design Center

You can now configure percentile metrics from the Metric properties panel in Design Center. Previously, they could only be added via SML.

For more information, see Non-Additive Metrics and Add Additive or Non-Additive Metrics.

Support for Microsoft Power BI composite models

AtScale models can now be used in Power BI composite models. This enables analysts to combine their organization's models with their own datasets to attain new insights, without relying on an external data team.

For instructions on enabling your AtScale models to be used in Power BI composite models, see Using AtScale Models in Power BI Composite Models.

Undo local Git commits

You can now undo local Git commits from the Source Control panel. For more information, see Git Workflows.

View information about aggregate build failures

You can now view the reason an aggregate build failed on the Build History tab of the Aggregates page. The Metadata section of the build details panel contains a new Build Exception Message field for failed builds, which lists the reason the build was not successful.

For more information, see Monitoring Aggregate Usage.

Git User Display Name and Email fields now required

When connecting to your Git account, the User Display Name and Email fields are now required.

Note

If you have not previously provided these values, you will need to do so after upgrading to C2025.11.0.

For more information on connecting to Git, see Connecting to Git.

ATSCALE-20609

Configure case sensitivity for the MDX All member

You can now control whether the All member in MDX expressions is case sensitive using the query.language.mdx.allMember.caseInsensitive setting. This setting is available at both the global and model levels, and is enabled by default. For more information, see Query Settings (global level) and Query Settings (model-level).

ATSCALE-41098

Configure empty row handling in DAX query results

You can use the new query.language.dax.removeEmptyRows global and model settings to control whether DAX query results remove rows where every value is empty. This enables you to control whether these empty rows appear in BI tool visualizations when using AtScale in SuperDAX MD or DAX Tabular mode.

By default, the new settings are set to false. For more information, see Query Settings (global level) and Query Settings (model level). For more information on unrelated dimension handling, see About Queries on Dimensions that are Unrelated to One or More Queried Metrics.
