Resolved Issues

The following issues have been resolved.

C2024.8.1

Developer Edition licenses resulted in Required error

In earlier releases, AtScale Developer Edition licenses were generated with some metadata missing. This resulted in Developer Edition customers receiving a red Required error. This behavior is resolved in C2024.8.1.

Multiple Databricks SQL endpoints resulted in error

When defining multiple Databricks SQL endpoints (for different query mappings), the assignment of multiple endpoints resulted in failed connection pools and forced a recreation of the data warehouse connection. This has been resolved in C2024.8.1.

C2024.8.0

Integrations and Services page now available

You can now use the Integrations and Services page to configure connections to Tableau Server. For more information, see Configuring Configuring Connections to Tableau Server.

Multiple Databricks Connections Were Unsupported

AtScale C2024.7.0 did not support more than one Databricks connection per data warehouse configuration. This issue has been resolved.

ATSCALE-22049

Databricks Clustered Tables Were Unsupported

Clustered tables in Databricks have hidden columns to support the clustering feature. These columns were interrupting the workflow for Data Preview and dataset creation in AtScale. Clustered tables are now fully supported.

ATSCALE-22036

Multi-Model Catalogs Accessed via the Inbound PostgreSQL Interface were not Completely Updated on Deploy

For AtScale installations that use the PostgreSQL interface, deploying catalogs with multiple models could create race conditions that resulted in only a subset of those models being created in the metadata database.

This issue has been resolved.
