Configure Canvas Tool Panels
You can configure the sidebar of the canvas to show and hide tool panels, and persist the panels you work with the most.
About this task
Panel settings are per user. Your latest panel settings are retained between sessions in AtScale Design Center. The main canvas and dimension editor canvases have separate panel configurations.
Procedure

Click the icon to open a tool panel:
Tool Panel Description Measures Shows the simple measures that have been added to the cube definition using the SQL aggregate calculations that AtScale supports for measures. This panel appears only on the main canvas. Dimensions Shows the logical dimensions that have been created in or added to the cube. Double-click a dimension to open it in the dimension editor canvas. Hierarchies Shows the hierarchies, levels, and secondary attributes of a dimension. This panel appears only on the dimension editor canvas. Preview Shows what BI tools and client applications will see of either the entire cube or a selected perspective. User-Defined Aggregates Shows the user-defined aggregate tables that have been defined for the cube. This panel appears only on the main canvas. System-Defined Aggregate Partitions Shows the system-defined aggregate column partitions that have been defined for the cube. This panel appears only on the main canvas. Perspectives Lists the perspectives that have been defined on the cube. Also, allows you to create new perspectives and edit existing ones. Data Sources Shows the data sources that are configured. This is where you choose and import the Hive tables to base your cube on. Library Shows a list of datasets and dimensions that have been added to the project. Calculated Measures Shows the semi-additive measures that have been added to the cube definition using MDX-like expression syntax. This panel appears only on the main canvas. Drill Throughs Shows the drill-through sets that have been defined for the cube. Tutorials Displays a series of tutorials that walk you through the steps to create and customize a model. -
The panel will open to the left of the sidebar. Click the X icon to close it.

Click the pin icon to persist the panel to the sidebar.

Click the X icon to dismiss a panel that has been pinned to the sidebar.

Double-click a panel header to expand or collapse the panel in the sidebar.

Drag the black line at the bottom of a panel to resize it.

Press the
f
key to hide/show the entire panel sidebar. Thef
key also toggles the project navigation bar on and off.
