Snowflake Dimensions

In AtScale, the term snowflake dimension refers to one logical dimension that is comprised of many underlying physical datasets.

For example, you may have different physical tables for day, week, month, and year, and combine them into one logical Date dimension.

You cannot create, view, or edit snowflake dimensions from the main cube canvas. You have to open the dimension editor to see and manage snowflake dimensions.
