What is the AtScale Data Catalog?
The AtScale Data Catalog is a cube sharing interface that lists AtScale cubes and perspectives. The Data Catalog provides an avenue for data owners (cube authors) to grant query and access rights of their virtual cubes to data consumers (query users).
For the data owner, the Data Catalog includes permission controls and a notifications system to handle query requests from data consumers on certain cubes. For the data consumer, the Data Catalog is a landing point within the AtScale design center to view cubes made visible by the data owner, and to request access those cubes that contain relevant data which have not been made shareable by data owners.
As of AtScale version 2020.1.0, the Data Catalog has a filters panel to refine your search for discoverable or restricted cubes.
The Data Catalog is in a data table format, similar to the Aggregates and Queries pages.
